Computing Graduate working at McClaren Cars

CISM is a firm believer in ensuring our graduates have obtained the necessary skills, qualifications and experience in order to suceed as IT professionals in industry and commerce.

Our IT courses include teamwork and presentation skills and some introduction to organisational practice. Our graduates should be up and running from Day 1! Many will already have gained a year's experience via our Industrial Placement Scheme.

Our Graduates have Specialist Technical Disciplines

Student

Our undergraduate and postgraduate graduates gain both IT and non-IT skills and knowledge in their studies that can be transfered and applied directly in the workplace.

Our Undergraduate Industrial Placement Students can fill key roles too

Student

Most of our courses in Computing, Information Systems and Mathematics incorporate an optional placement year. During this period students are available for employment in full-time work which complements and contextualises their coursework.

... and so can our Work-based Learning Foundation Degree Students

Student

Our work-based learning Foundation Degree undergraduates study by day release and are available for full-time or part-time employment, typically in “para-medic” technical support roles.
