The Doctoral School
The Faculty's Doctoral School offers a range of Research and Professional Doctorate programmes for postgraduate students aspiring to a career in research. In addition to the formal programmes, a comprehensive research training and career development programme aims to ensure students achieve their aspiration.
Currently the School has over seventy Masters and Doctoral research students working in dedicated research labs under the direction of academics from our world-leading research centres and groups. Many are funded by the UK research councils, the EU and industry. In addition, we are very proud of our significant community of self-funded students who bring a high level of drive and maturity.
Dr Souheil Khaddaj, Director, Doctoral School
Our Faculty Research Officer, Bee Tang, works closely with the Director of the Doctoral School to support research students throughout their research career within the faculty. Responsible for the admissions and supervision processes, she also provides front-line pastoral support.
Whether a prospective student or already registered on one of our degrees, I would be delighted to answer any queries you may have regarding our programmes or processes. If you are ever unsure who to contact, please contact me.
